Picture's with Santa

Jaden's first Christmas.  I was worried that I wasn't going to get a picture with Santa this year but lucky for us this Santa happens to be our home teacher and I mentioned that I wanted a picture of Jaden with Santa.  So on his way to a family party he stopped by for a photo shoot.  Jaden didn't even cry when he had to sit on Santa's lap.  I hope we are that lucky next year.

Blessing Day

We blessed Jaden the first Sunday of December.  Terron did such a good job I am so proud of him and so grateful that he has the preisthood and can bless our family.  Jaden did so good and slept through the entire thing.  He looked adorable in his little white suit.

Proud Daddy!

I don't know who is more in love with this little guy, me or Terron.  We are adjusting to life really well.  It helps that we have such a good baby to work with.  We are definately spoiled with him and I know it.  He is a very easy going little guy.  He doesn't get fussy or really cry at all unless he is starving.  I have to wake him up to feed him but he is already sleeping 5 hours at night.  He has started to smile which I love!  He is extremely strong for a baby.  I have a hard time making him do something that he doesn't want to do.  He loves to cuddle and he likes to be read to......at least I think.

Jaden has arrived!

I can't believe it has already been a week since our little guy made his entrance into this world!  I don't know what we ever did with out him.  Terron and I absolutely love this little addition to our family.  Here is our story.  I had been getting all sorts of antsy about him coming.  I had been dilated to about a 5 for three weeks and still wasn't having any contractions.  We went to my Dr. appt on Wednesday and I tried everything to convince Dr. Lunt that he needed to start me.  He nicely but firmly told me NO.  If I made it to my next appt then he would set a date to enduce me.  I had given up on trying to get him to come out on my own and just decided to let him come when he was ready.  Friday as soon as we got home from work we got dinner in the oven and sat down to visit.  I no more than got my plate of food and sat down on the couch that I felt a warm gush.  My first thought was oh crap I peed my pants but then soon realized that it wasn't the case.  I told Terron that my water broke and he went into warp speed.  He had my bags packed and was out to the car faster than I could get down the stairs and back up.  We made it to St. George in record time.  Thank goodness for no cops and no deer being out!  We checked in around 8:00 and was dilated to a 6 when we walked in the door.  I dilated up to an 8 in no time and finally got some painful contractions.  As soon as I got my epidural all progress stopped.  It took me about 4 hours to go from a 8 to a 10.  Once I got there we were ready for buisness.  I started pushing and about 30 minutes later out came Jaden.  My epidural worked out great.  It took away my pain but had worn off enough by the time I started to push that I was able to feel all of my contractions and move my legs.  We did get a little suprise that we weren't expecting.  He came out face up!  They figured that is what took me so long to get him to that point.  I did have to get a nice amount of stitches due to his position of arrival but he was well worth every ounce of pain I felt.  He also surprised us with a whole head of brown hair!  He weighed 7lbs and 9 oz.  20.5 in long.  He is absolutely perfect!

Baby Shower

I guess it is about time I update my blog.  We are getting close to the arrival of this little guy and we can't wait.......I think :)  So far things have really gone pretty smooth for me.  I have been really lucky and haven't had any sickness, or heartburn, or most of the other symptoms a lot of people have to deal with.  I can already tell that this baby is going to give us a run for our money.  He is so active and moves all the time, really I don't think he sleeps in there at all!  He still doesn't have a name......that is my fault.  Everything that we have come up with just doesn't seem right, I keep waiting to have inspiration of some kind but it hasn't happened for me yet.  I just want to make sure I get his name right so I am just not going to name him until I find it.  Terron is getting more and more impatient for him to get here.  He thinks it is taking forever but it has really gone by quickly for me.  I don't think that the reality of being parents has really set in for either of us.  I don't think it will until they send us home with him.  We have got his crib and nursery set up for the most part.  I couldn't find any baby bedding I liked so I got this great idea to make my own.  I bought the material, got it home and then decided that there was no way I could tackle this project.  Lucky for me Terron has an extremely talented grandma that I convinced to help me out.  Thank you Grandma Hunt for bailing me out on that one.  My baby shower was this last weekend, there was such a good turn out!  Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting us!  Also thank you so much to all of our family for all the work they put into the shower.  My mom especially, THANK YOU MOM!  Now all we have left to do is wait........

Baby Hunt!

We are PREGNANT!!!!  We are very excited about this new chapter in life, a little scared but very excited!  We found out we were expecting around the first of March.  We decided to keep it a secret until we went to our first Dr appointment just to make sure everything was ok and on track.  We had our first appointment this last thursday and we got to hear it's little heart beat!  I knew I was pregnant before but hearing that little heart beat inside me just made this little baby real.  So far I have been very lucky, I haven't had to many symptoms.  I have been extremely tired and nauseous but no throwing up.  :)

The day after we found out I came home to these Beautiful roses, Terron has been so good to me this whole time.  I know he is so excited and is going to be such a good daddy!

We told our families this weekend.  It was Ter's mom birthday on thursday so we had a dinner for her friday night.  We bought a bunch of baby stuff and wrapped it up for her to open.  I think she was pretty surprised and seemed pretty happy to be a Grandma!  We bought an ice cream cake and took it over to my parents house.  It took them a few minutes but they finally figured it out.  Terron got some good video!  We are happy to finally share our good news with everyone else, it was so hard to keep it a secret!!!
