Camping Fun/Funny Faces

Jaden has a new passion in life......Yelling.  He has got to be making some kind of noise all the time.  It really is fun and cute until we go somewhere or are trying to have a conversation.  He is getting such a cute personality and it is so fun to watch him change from baby to a little person.  He is very strong willed all ready but he is so much fun!  I captured his progression of making a little noise to yelling and then laughing so hard at himself for doing it!

We went camping for the first time with Jaden last weekend.  We did pretty good the whole weekend.  He was a trooper through all the heat and the bugs.  We spent a lot of time on the ranger riding through the hills.  We lost Miley out there on our last day of camping and couldn't find her.  We went home pretty sad.  About five days after we got home my mom called someone she knew that lived in the area we had camped and sure enough one of her neighbors had found Miley.  Terron drove out the next day to bring her home!  

Out fishing.  Everyone caught a fish but me.  I think they hate me or something because I can't catch a fish to save my life.  Thank goodness the guys caught about 15 so I didn't go hungry.  

Nap time was a little rough, or should I say it just didn't happen at all.  It was more just fun and games to Jader.  It didn't help that the trailer was 90*

Summer is flying by and Jaden is growing like a weed.  He is such a sweet little boy that is full of smiles!  He is already a thrill seeker, the crazier ride the better for him.  But when he does hold still (normally when he is asleep)  he looks like a little angel!

He was so sleepy I gave him his bottle in his high chair while we ate dinner and before we knew it he was sound asleep.

Jaden went on his first tractor ride last week.  He was scared to death when we first climbed in with daddy but he slowly warmed up to the tractor and decided it was pretty fun.

This is typically what I find when I leave Terron babysitting Jaden.  

I love this picture!  I don't know why but there is something adorable about a baby's naked bum!  

Life Lately

My most recent exciting news!  I finally got the internet.  I have felt so cut off from the world without it.  Maybe now I can keep my blog updated :)  Jaden is full of it but he is so much fun!  There isn't to many times you can catch him without a smile on his face.  He is already 6 months old!  I don't know where the time goes.  I have absolutely no idea what Ter and I ever did without him.  He isn't crawling yet, thank goodness because when he does watch out.  He is always busy and moving though.  

He loves books!  We have a little bed time routine and Terron reads to him most every night after bath time.

Bath time is quite an adventure and he loves it!  I think we get about as wet as he does but he has fun.

He is doing really good with a sippy cup, he mostly just likes to chew on it.

We just recently took a trip down to the fire station.  Jaden got to ride on the fire truck and got lots of cute pictures.  I don't know who enjoyed the fire truck more the little kids or the adults but we all had a lot of fun.

Of course we cant forget about motorcycles.  Yes Jaden has already been on his first motorcycle ride.  No worries to your mothers that are freaking out, it was on a little bike and we went really slow.  Jaden really did love it though.  I am afraid that even at this young age he has some thrill seeking in his bones.

Of course there is also dinner time.  He loves food, any food, all food especially table food.  We have just started giving him tastes of food but would eat anything you put in front of him, as you can tell he is definitely not starving.

New Pictures

We had Jaden and Payten's pictures done and Morgan had her work cut out for her on this one.  I couldn't coax one smile out of him and normally it is not hard to do.  They turned out pretty cute any way!

I love this picture!!  He is so happy most all the time unless he is hungry and then watch out! 

Finally Settled in!

Well we are finally settled in.  We did a little painting and it made a world of difference!  I haven't got an after picture just a before and kind of in the middle.  I will talk a few more as soon as I hang everything in Jaden's room but we are loving it!  We went from old brown paneling to new tan walls.
