Sushi

This past weekend Terron had softball games so we decided to make a weekend of it and stay down to St. G with my sister and brother-in-law. After the friday night game a group of us went out to samurai 21 for dinner. We sat at the hibachi grill, which in my opinion makes the place so great! Our chef was awesome, he made volcanos out of onions and lit them on fire and threw us shrimp to catch in our mouth. (he kept getting angry with me because when I went to catch it I would close my eyes so it would just bounce off my face and onto the floor) I was entertained and laughed all through dinner. I even tried food the would normally make me sick to think about.....If any of you know me very well, then you know how funny I am about food. Ever since I was little I have been funny about eating certain food. If I thought that it tasted gross then there was no way in the world you were going to change my mind other wise, and I wouldn't try it just to see because I already knew that it was going to be nasty. So I have slightly started to be open minded about things. I was 21 years old when I decided that I would taste some fish. It was tilapia and not fishy at all so believe it or not I decided that I liked it..... go figure. Well friday I tried Salmon and after a lot of convincing Sushi.....Flying fish eggs to be exact. It took a lot of courage to shove that thing in my mouth, it almost came back out I just had to talk myself through it in my head and tell my self not to throw up. However after I got it down it really wasn't that bad taste or texture. I think from now on I am going to try and be better about things because they normally aren't as bad as I think them up to be. All in all we had a blast. Thanks everybody for going with us and Melinda and Curtis for the sushi! We will have to do it again soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY........TO ME!!!!

Yesterday I turned 22 years old. I know it's not that bad but I feel ancient! I still can't believe that I am already this far into my life! I swear just yesterday I was playing with dolls, and today I have my own little family. (That I LOVE) This past year has been great! We have had quite a few little adventures, some not so good and some that have been amazing! Terron and I made the move to Enterprise almost one year ago to the day. Although that experience was one of my worst night mares, which I will never forget! It brought us back home close to family. We are so blessed to live pretty much next door to everyone we love. And as crazy as it seems that little flood that sent us packing was one of the best things that could have happened to us.
This year flew by like all of the years before it. And once again my birthday has come and gone. However it was a great one! I am so spoiled and I love it. Thank you to all my awesome family and friends and especially my amazing hubby Terron for as always giving me more than I deserve!
For some reason I have convinced the world that we celebrate my birthday all weekend long so to start off the celebration Terron and I spent the night in St. G with Cat and Jared. We all went out to a movie friday night.(Four Christmas's, it was funny but not as great as I had hoped for.) And then sent the boys to get us ice cream for the next movie we started at home. We had great fun with the Blads thanks for letting us crash at your pad. Saturday I got completely spoiled! Jared made us waffles for breakfast which were excellent! (Thanks again pal) and then Terron took me out for a day of shopping. We have made it a tradition that we spend my birthday buying me clothes. I absolutely love it. Terron is so awesome about the whole thing. We walk in a store and I send him to find me clothes. For some reason he always finds the cutest stuff. I hit the dressing room while he brings me more clothes. Seriously how many husbands would do that. He is one of a kind. We spent the rest of the day playing around enjoying our time together. I made away with so many fun cute things.
My mom had an amazing dinner waiting for us when we got home. We normally celebrate both my Dad's and My birthday on the same day which I love. So the whole family came over for food, presents, and pretty much the most amazing ice cream cake ever (two thumbs up for Karisti on that one.) All in all it was a great day. I am sad it's over but that just means one thing! FOUR DAYS TO CHRISTMAS!!!!

I Can't Believe It's Almost Christmas

I have been so excited for Christmas! Terron and I both love Christmas! As soon as we got done with dinner on Thanksgiving day I put my decorations up. Then we got our tree and Terron and I spent a night decorating it and watching Christmas shows. I think that is my favorite part about Christmas is that Terron loves to do everything with me. Our favorite thing is to cuddle up in the truck and ride around looking at Christmas lights. We don't park and make out like we used to, we do wait until we get back home now. (haha I can just see my mom's face right now, sorry mom I had to)
I had my first experience of getting a real Christmas tree over the weekend. My family has had a fake tree for as long as I can remember because my dad struggled when it came to taking us out more than 2 days before Christmas to get the tree so my mom just got a fake one so we could put it up when WE wanted. So I have totally missed out on the tree hunting thing. Well Luch and Dan hadn't gotten their tree yet so on saturday evening right as it decided to snow we headed out to get a tree. I have to admit I had a blast. We took Miley along who had never seen snow before she was amazed and loved it. We went past Terry's ranch and took some dirt rode and then we got out and walked. We split up Terron, Miley, and I went one way and Danika and Luchel went the other. I sang Christmas carols to Terron most of the time, he did sing along once in a while but we just walked around in the snow holding hands and chasing the dog until we found the tree. I had so much fun it's great to make new traditions together every year! I think tree hunting is going to be one of ours from now on. I haven't decided to put a real tree in my house, but one would be cute out on our lawn with lights...... we are still compromising about all that stuff! Terron normally gives in:)
So as for my Christmas shopping, Well I was going to be totally be on the ball this year and have all my christmas shopping done early. Well I actually did all but Terron. I had all my christmas presents bought and wrapped before december first. The only glitch was Ters. I try and surprise him every year which I haven't been successful at but this year so I am still working on his but other than that I am almost ready to go. I still can't believe its here already snow and all.

Legos

Well Jared brought his legos up for the little kids to play with and you can see who ended up with them. The big kids. Terron and Jared got all lego crazy so then one by one the rest of us joined in. I was primarily the lego organizer, I tell you I am an organizing freak, but we all had a blast. I am considering buying terron his own set for christmas.

Great finds on my trip

These are a few of the great finds I had on our shopping trip!

We always hit this huge store kinda like a michaels except Much bigger they always have amazing deals so of course I coudln't help myself and I did buy more scrapbook stuff! But I will use it I swear! I have this serious issue that i love to buy things like scrapbook stuff but then instead of using it I just LOVE to organize it! I am not crazy though it runs in the family I found out because my aunt Elaine admitted that she has the same problem with having everything organized like I do.
As pathetic as it is it is like my favorite hobbie....I know I am sick!

So these are my cute sunglasses, my knock of purse, amazingly cute shoes and jewlery. I bought all of this for what I would pay for one pair of shoes at christensens! I know its rediculous but true!

Shop Til You Drop!

This is me with my loot, my awesome auntie that makes the trip possible, and me & my mom on the bus excited to get our shopping on.
Okay So the bus ride down was excellent for two reasons
1. I slept the entire time and I don't really remember it
2. I finally won the money!!!
So for the 6 or so years that I have gone I have never won the money. But my luck finally changed! Yay for me! We all put in a dollar and then auntie draws out a name and they win a little extra shopping money! We always have a blast & the trip definately started out well for me.

So I bought a ton of cute material down the alley but my real find was at the swap meet with this cute brown and blue blanket. The lady that made these were amazing and she gave me a heck of a deal. So now all I need is a baby to put in it........ uh Terron........
